The following policy covers all web sites owned and developed by the Marketing Practice.

External hyperlink approval should be passed to the Marketing Practice for acceptance and assessment.  All links will open up into a separate window and not within the frameset of the Marketing Practice website.

Free text links will be given to organizations that are mentioned in copy provided by either third parties or originally generated by the Marketing Practice.

If a third party has supplied original free content a link will automatically be given to the provider/owner of the content, once the content has been editorially approved.

  *   Logo links    

 

On some occasions a logo hyperlink will be accepted, again this will need to be approved by the Marketing Practice.  If the logo is used on the site, written permission must be sort from the third party.  This will protect the Marketing Practice in terms of breach of copyright, preventing any ambiguity between both parties. A written copy of express permission logo usage approval (letter or email accepted) detailing the usage rights of their logo must be forwarded on to Marketing Practice for reference purposes.
